The Joys of AT&T and Yahoo

Posted on October 21, 2009 By Michael Kavka No Comments on The Joys of AT&T and Yahoo

So, I have my main personal e-mail through AT&T/Yahoo. Its set up on my nice little Blackberry, on Outlook at home, and my friends and family know the address. I also get a bunch of e-mail newsletters from different computer news sites to it.

So what happens? over the last month on my blackberry I have had to recreate the account or reenter my password at least 30 times. Mind you this does not happen with my g-mail account that I use for my hobbies. G-mail just works. Yahoo/AT&T keeps fraking up. So today when it happens, I decide to check the e-mail through my web browser. I get the following message:

”

Sorry for the inconvenience.

You’ve stumbled upon an unexpected, temporary problem. Performing your action again in a few moments will likely resolve the problem completely. If not, we suggest you try re-launching Yahoo! Mail.

If the problem persists, feel free to contact Customer Care about Error Code 5.
Thanks,

The Yahoo! Mail Team”

Now as of the time of this writing this has been going on for 90 minutes. Yeah, Yahoo really deserves our attention. Yeah AT&T is great. Yeah the both should be taught how to have 99% uptime on something like e-mail. I don’t know whether to blame the iPhone partially for this or not, but seriously, they need to fix their crap.
